SportNinja Q4 Product Release

This quarter’s release delivers meaningful improvements across user experience, scoring and statistics, registration workflows, and administrative controls. Many of these updates are the result of direct customer feedback and ongoing investment in platform efficiency and performance.

Redesigned Web Navigation

  • Navigation relocated with customized sections  for Players and Admins

  • Leaderboards showcasing the top 5 players for each Stat for Players/Goalies

Notification Settings

  • Each user can now customize their own notification preferences.
  • Users can turn ON notifications for live game notifications of goals and penalties

Phone Number Improvements

  • Modern phone input with country code selection across web and mobile
  • Proper phone number validation
  • Phone number field now available on user profile editing (mobile)

Registration Improvements

  • Registration email confirmations now sent for free registrations (including 100% coupon codes)
  • Replaced filter icon with clearer "Status" label on registration tabs
  • Registration Payment Delinquency Report
  • New report available for tracking missed or late registration payments

Division Visibility Controls

  • Ability to hide registration divisions from the public registration URL
  • Ability to hide divisions from standings (useful for registration-only divisions)

Statistics & Standings Improvements

Competition Player Statistics Settings
  • New settings to customize which player/goalie statistics are displayed
  • Configure column order and visibility for Skater and Goalie stats
  • Default sort options for statistics tables
Goalie Stats Fixes
  • Fixed SV% (Save Percentage) calculation
  • Fixed GAA (Goals Against Average) calculation for All
  • Fixed goalie stats display showing "0" for SV% and MIN
Other Stats Improvements
  • Fixed shootout wins being incorrectly counted as overtime wins in team points
  • Fixed PTS/G (Points per Game) calculation
  • Fixed derived stats when component values are hidden in settings
  • Fixed WPCTD and In-Division stats recalculation when moving teams between divisions
